DVC Voting Member Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Personal or professional interest and knowledge of the issue of domestic violence.
2. Represent a group, organization or constituency.
3. Have particular areas of expertise to bring to the Council.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Regularly attend Domestic Violence Council Meetings.
2. Keep current o­n Council activity in the interim by reading and responding to Council communications.
3. Promote the Council in the community.
4. Act as a source of information to those in your group, organization or constituency.
5. Participate in at least o­ne of the Council committees by attending committee meetings and executing the work of the committee between meetings.
6. Inform the Council’s Coordinator of any change in employment or other status that may affect your position as a Council member.
7. Agree to adhere to the philosophy of the Council as reflected in the Council’s mission statement and policies.
